Japan : Hiroshima - July 2008 Country Code: Dial +81 for Japan
FROM THE AIRPORT
Taxi:
The lack of a direct rail link and the costly fare for long-distance taxis make this by far the best way to get between Hiroshima International Airport and the city. The journey takes about 50 minutes and the buses run regularly to and from either Hiroshima Station (North Shinkansen Exit side) or Hiroshima Bus Centre (in the city centre, near Peace Memorial Park). Tickets are 1,300 yen each for a one-way trip. Return tickets valid for seven days are 2,360 yen. www.hij.airport.jp
