Even as a little boy, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand was quite extraordinary. Born in Boston, he moved to Lausanne, Switzerland, with his family at the age of five.

Here, he and his siblings lived in a small apartment, going to school like any other child his age and learning to ride a bike. Read more about His Majesty in Above and Beyond on page 66.
